Yes, even a website about natural hair care needs disclaimers!

Please be aware that this method may not work for you. We are all different. We all have different hair textures. We all produce sebum at different rates.

I am a Caucasian woman in her late 50's.
My hair is fine and poker-straight, and I have it dry cut regularly at my favorite local salon.
Except for the very rare spritz of dilute hydrogen peroxide, my hair is not color treated in any way. (Yes, I know...most people my age have lovely silver strands; my naturally blonde locks are thanks to my paternal grandmother, who didn't begin "going grey" until after she turned 70. Thank you, Mommom!)

All that said, I have successfully and happily used this method for the past ten years.

Will this method work on your curly hair? On your permed hair? On your color treated hair? On your thick, waist length hair?

I don't know!

I recommend you try the WTO Method™ with your own towel, washcloths, or cotton T-shirt before investing in Hair Mitts™ products, to be certain this method will work for you.

Payment Policy
Hair Mitts™ accepts payments through these credit/debit cards:

Your credit card will be charged when you place your order. If for any reason we are not able to fulfill your order, your account will be refunded in full.

Billing
The billing descriptor which will appear on your bank or credit card statement will start with WPY* and conclude with "Hair Mitts™," i.e.: WPY* Hair Mitts™.

Shipping Policy
All orders are shipped within 48 hours Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, ET, following receipt of your payment.

We currently use USPS to ship all orders.
If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

Shipping Rates
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to cancel your order at that time.

RETURN POLICY

I want you to love your Hair Mitts™ and Hair Mitts Towels as much as I love mine!

Each mitt and towel is a one-of-a-kind creation, lovingly handcrafted from quality, natural fabrics, some of which were suits in a previous life.

This means there may sometimes be small flaws in the fabric; these flaws do not interfere with the functionality or construction of the product. Sometimes, despite my best efforts, the top stitching appears "wonky;" stitching in home sewn items may not be perfectly straight as in commercially stitched items. These variations add to the charm and uniqueness of these products.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it, unused, for a full refund, within 15 days of delivery. I'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of error on my end, i.e., if the item you received did not match the description and photo.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please contact me with your order number and details, including photos, if possible, of the product you would like to return. I will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

But I really hope you'll be pleased with your purchase! Using your mitts for their intended use with the Water and Towel Only Method, and adhering to the care instructions should ensure many years of healthy hair cleaning.

COLOR, DESCRIPTION, AND DESIGN DISCLAIMER

Computer monitors and other digital devices display colors differently. We each perceive colors differently. (Remember that viral blue and brown dress? Or was it white and gold?) Also, the lighting of a product will also cause color variations. Though I've attempted to share the best representation of each product, I cannot guarantee that the color in an image accurately portrays the true color of the product.

The details of the products or product specifications (for instance weight, color, handwork details, size, etc.) quoted with the product displays are only approximate values. Also, there may be slight differences in the design and pattern as compared to the picture shown on the the website.

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for the Hair Mitts™ shop and the Hair Mitts™ and Water and Towel Only Method website. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by these websites. It will notify you of the following:
